Tree of Life

In 2013, my colleague and I were commissioned by a local client to create a terracotta relief for their Persian garden in the historical city of Mahan (in Kerman). Being inspired by the vigorous old trees in the location, we decided to engrave an ancient, twisted tree with massive roots occupied by mythical birds (in clay) and titled the work Tree of Life.
